I'm lucky

We have a new cleaner who, the first time she was here apologised for looking surprised, they didn’t tell her I was in a wheelchair. Last week she told me she thinks of me every day and it makes her realise how lucky she is. Nice lady. She then told me about the recent break up of her second marriage and it’s me who is lucky.

Pain clinic

Yesterday I went to the pain clinic/palliative care doctor. Seems he wasn't the sort of doc who did tai chi/meditation stuff. Just prescibed stuff so I'm back on the Gabapentin which is probably ok because last night i spent a ridiculous amount of time contemplating the word "ow" and how stranhee it is and other words that sprung to mind.

I hate hospitals

Just had a couple of days in yet another hospital when a bout of diarrhoea lasted too long, in hubby’s opinion. This time it was up the hill to what my GP thought was a nice little hospital. I now have yet another reason to hate Maleny.

My day

This morning I managed some proper sit to stands for the 1st time since hospital. Serious FIGJAM dmoment. Woo hoo Big smile .

I've just grouted my latest mosaic masterpieces. Another FIGJAM moment Big smile .

Okay so I'm going to get told off for the mess I've made but you can't have everything.

But wait, there's more ...

Here we go. My latest was a whole pile of new symptoms that I never got onto soon enough. After fluffing around since the beginning of April, it finally occurred to me that I should probably be back in the Nambour Hilton (hospital}) back on the steroids again. It’s only my 2nd time so the fact that I didn’t realise sooner doesn’t make me a total retard (debatable I know).
